About Me
And Thanks for Reading

I Love To INSPIRE PEOPLE. I Envision that One Day, someone will come up to me, look into my eyes and say “BECAUSE OF YOU, I DIDN” T GIVE UP.”
Hi, I’m Mei! I graduated from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, with Distinction in a Bachelor Degree in Management Systems. With more than 22 years of corporate business and global regional work experience under my name, I joined the Life Business in year 2012. My Lifetime Member Award for Great Eastern Life Achievers’ Club (GELAC) Award since year 2016 highlighted my consistency every year since day one.
My strong sense of responsibility and personal drive helped in me providing personal financial advisory and financial planning for my clients. This gives them a peace of mind to be prepared for any unforeseen financial crisis and achieve financial freedom after retirement.
My focus on building strong trust and rapport with my clients have resulted in the majority of them becoming very good personal friends.
One of my key differentiations stems from my rich twenty-two years of corporate global experience. My heightened business acumen makes my financial planning and advice to be pertinent. Being in that place before, I work on providing advice on corporate management strategies, success planning, property investment and career planning from their perspectives.
For me, one of the most satisfying part of my job, is when I see Hope and Determination, from helping a family, a friend or a company through the claims process of either a financial crisis or an illness prognosis. This may even be seeing a company cash flow improving or a client achieving financial independence.

Family and Hobbies
I am always grateful that I come from a very closed-knitted extended family of twelve. I love and place my family as my first priority. More often than not, I will be buried in my tight schedule but I will never forget to spend quality time with my family, especially with my aging parents. This is in spite of driving towards my own dreams and goals and often pressing support for my clients and friends. I especially love travelling with my family.
Growing up in a very traditional Chinese family where boys are often favoured over girls. Having four other siblings, three of whom are elder brothers, life can be challenging. I often find myself fighting to earn for my own rights to things which my parents thought were only meant for my brothers. One good example was my overseas degree course. I worked hard for four years and saved enough for the course fees before embarking on the degree course. Instead of resigning to fate, this experience has made me resilient.
Personal resilience is a very important ingredient for my quest of my dreams and goals in life.
